We received our tax exempt status in April 2022.  We are excited to begin a new journey for our community.  The goal remains to help those affected by substance abuse (recovered addicts and member of their household).  With sober living facilities in mind, we are preparing for several fund raising campaigns to bring this much needed ministry to our area.

The Directors met for a second time on September 25, 2022 to discuss the next steps needed to grow the ministry.  There are several potential fundraising efforts on the table.  There are 2 types of homes being discussed; one is the actual sober living facility for individuals who have completed rehab and one is a home for women and children who have been victims of the addict's lifestyle.

We are working as diligently as we can to hit the streets and help those suffering with addiction. There ARE addicts who are trying; they need rides to/from court, rehabs, meetings, etc. There ARE addicts who know & care they are lost. They need ministered to; they need help! There ARE parents, spouses, friends, siblings, and children who struggle. We need support groups to share knowledge and hope. We need volunteers and donations from local churches AND businesses for meetings, appointments, etc.

We have a next generation of children affected, who get lost in a windstorm of pain and turmoil. Foster families need better resources to help traumatized children. We need to show every person involved they are not alone. They need to know they have great value and purpose. We can make alliances in this community to TAKE BACK our community; we can TAKE BACK our streets.

We can make alliances to ensure that the next generation has a fighting chance to be free from addiction, to be prosperous and united.

Hope
